NOVEMBER 25, 2014 - Today the Government of Saskatchewan and businesses meet face-to-face in hopes of finding their perfect match at the 2014 Business Opportunity Expo hosted by the Ministry of Central Services. The event, held at TCU Place in Saskatoon, offers a chance for business suppliers and Saskatchewan’s public sector to network, and for businesses to learn about government’s procurement needs and processes.

MARCH 17, 2014 - Changes are being made to the naming policy for government buildings and geographic features in the province. The changes are the result of recommendations made by Dr. Gordon Barnhart, following his review of the policy on behalf of the Ministries of Central Services and Parks, Culture and Sport.

MARCH 13, 2014 - The Government of Saskatchewan will hand over keys to the Wolseley Courthouse to the Town of Wolseley. The arrangement, through the Ministry of Central Services, will see the community turn the building into municipal offices and space for community organizations.

MARCH 10, 2014 - Central Services is pleased to announce the launch of the new SaskTenders website.  The redesigned SaskTenders site will be home to all procurement opportunities for executive government and Crown corporations, in addition to the municipal, academic, school and health sectors.

JANUARY 31, 2014 - The Government of Saskatchewan announced today the celebration of Archives Week from February 2 to 8, 2014. The Saskatchewan Council for Archives and Archivists (SCAA) will be hosting a week-long series of events around the province in honour of our heritage and the work that has gone into the preservation of that heritage.

AUGUST 21, 2013 - Dr. Gordon Barnhart has been appointed to undertake a review of the naming policy for government-owned buildings and the naming of geographic features pursuant to The Heritage Property Act on behalf of the Ministries of Central Services and Parks, Culture and Sport.

MAY 17, 2013 - The Government of Saskatchewan declared Public Works Week from May 19 to 25.

APRIL 19, 2013 - Saskatchewan Air Ambulance patients can now expect even better care and efficient service thanks to a new, larger hangar facility for the program unveiled today at the Saskatoon airport.

FEBRUARY 6, 2013 - The Government of Saskatchewan has been selected by a national selection panel as one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers in 2013.

FEBRUARY 1, 2013 - The Government of Saskatchewan today proclaimed February 3-9 as Archives Week.

DECEMBER 7, 2012 - The Government of Saskatchewan continues to receive growing recognition for reducing its environmental footprint. The Regina Provincial Correctional Centre has achieved a silver certification under the Canada Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system.

MAY 15, 2012 - Today, the Government of Saskatchewan announced that the renovations to the Weyburn Court House are now complete and court will resume the week of June 18, 2012.

JANUARY 27, 2012 - The Ministry of Government Services announced today that the old Provincial Laboratory located at 3211 Albert Street will be deconstructed beginning in February, which will assist government in reducing its footprint and costs.

JANUARY 6, 2012 - The Government of Saskatchewan is being recognized for its work to reduce its environmental impact. The Government of Saskatchewan achieved BOMA BESt level three for the environmental and sustainable operation of the L.F. McIntosh Building in Prince Albert and BOMA BESt level two for the Sturdy Stone building in Saskatoon.
